By far the best Ethiopian food I have ever had!! The server was really sweet and suggested the spicy Tibs. Atmosphere was clean and sleek looking. I appreciate the fresh roses on the tables. Will be back when I’m up in DFW!

I stopped by accident at Zemen n I have been greatly satisfied with the Breakfast combo I ordered. Freshly made in the kitchen, Pretty good portion (but i guess its a sharrable feast), but regardless, great taste on each, atmosphere is clean, n very bright. Great nice servers (maybe owners?) But in general Great welcoming restaurant

Probably the best Ethiopian restaurant I’ve visited in the USA. The service is fantastic, the food is very well seasoned and the portions are excellent at the price point. The tibs and kitfo are made to perfections. The addition of Asmara beer, zibib and home made Tej complete a great experience. This is an excellent addition to the DFW area.

the food was really good and the portion was way too much, I couldn’t even finish it. But the taste? Damn, that was something else. They gotta change their name to የ እናት ጓዳ, I’m definitely goin back.

Walked in and was greeted immediately, service was just as awesome as the food. Had some questions about the menu since it was my first time at an Ethiopian restaurant and the staff explained everything. I had the Juicy beef Tibs and Sambusa, there was 5 but ate before I remembered to take a picture. Will be back!

My wife, our daughters, and I ate at Zemen this past Saturday evening. My wife and I live in Mexico and had driven up to Richardson to celebrate my birthday with family. What a gift was Zemen Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar! I have traveled in Ethiopia, visiting monasteries with my son, and have eaten Ethiopian food in that country as well as in Washington, DC, New York, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. The food at Zemen is excellently prepared, nicely presented, surprisingly inexpensive, and absolutely delicious. The service was warm, gracious, and efficient, and the atmosphere was familial. From now on, whenever we go to Richardson, we will have at least one meal at Zemen!
